Lubricating Oil Merchants: The Meaning of Lubricating Oil
Oil lubricants account for more than 97% of the total consumption, so they are often referred to as petroleum lubricants. They are mainly used to reduce friction between the surfaces of moving parts and have the functions of cooling, sealing, anticorrosion, rust-proof, insulation, power transmission and impurities cleaning for machinery and equipment. Lubricating oil fractions and residue fractions from crude oil distillation units are mainly raw materials. The properties are viscosity, oxidation stability and lubricity.
The Meaning of Oil
Oil, that is, engine lubricant, can lubricate and reduce wear and tear, cool down, seal and leak, rust and corrosion prevention, shock absorption and cushioning of the engine. The oil on the market can be divided into mineral oil and synthetic oil because of its different base oil (vegetable oil is not counted for its low output). Synthetic oil can also be divided into: total synthetic oil and semi-synthetic oil. Total synthetic oil is the highest level.
Oil is composed of base oil and additives. Base oil is the main component of lubricating oil, which determines the basic properties of lubricating oil. Additives can make up for and improve the performance of base oil, and give some new properties. Base oil is an important part of lubricating oil.
The range of lubricating oil is different from that of oil. Oil is a kind of lubricating oil, but not necessarily an oil. Butter is also a kind of lubricating oil, but not an oil. Lubricating oil is an oil liquid used to reduce friction on machine equipment or friction pairs. For example, gear oil, anti-wear hydraulic oil, etc. Oil is a common term for engine lubricating oil, and it is a kind of lubricating oil. It is just like the relationship between motor vehicles and automobiles.
